Terms of service.
CyberStanding is operated by Cyber Assurance Group. These are the terms for holding a credential and for the text messages that go with it. Effective 10 September 2026.
The credential
A credential is a record of readings taken about an organization's safeguards, with the basis for each reading stated. It is issued to the organization named on it. It records what was found and when. It does not rate, rank or judge the organization, and it makes no promise about the future.
Readings are written once and never edited. A correction is a new entry beside the old one. You may close your record at any time.
Presenting a credential
You may present your credential to anyone you choose. A person you present it to may verify it against the registry. You agree not to alter a credential or present one that is not yours.
Text messages
Program. CyberStanding Credential messages, sent by Cyber Assurance Group.
What you receive. The link to your credential when it is issued, a one-time code when you ask for one, and a notice when a reading on your record has changed. No marketing.
Opting in. You receive messages only if you enter your mobile number during enrollment and tick the box agreeing to receive them. Consent to receive messages is not a condition of holding a credential.
Frequency. Varies. Most holders receive one message at issue and an occasional notice afterwards.
Cost. Message and data rates may apply.
Stopping. Reply STOP to any message and you will receive one confirmation and nothing further. You can opt in again at any time.
Help. Reply HELP to any message, or email registry@mycyberstanding.com.
Carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Your number. Your mobile number is used only for these messages. See the privacy page for what we keep and what we never share.
Changes
If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them, and holders who receive messages are told.
